Nancy,
What a wonderful homage to mama’s….it’s funny that you use the word MAMA instead of Mother because my daughter recently got a tattoo with an ax and under the ax is the word MAMA – everyone asks her what the ax stands for and she states that my MAMA taught me how to fight….so there you go!

Now as for my MAMA – well she taught me in her own unique way. She was a victim all her life so in turn she taught me how to NOT be a victim of circumstance and from all the negative things that she carried I learned all the positive things to be. Yes from my past! Also, I learned her passion for cooking, feeding people, her heart of love for her family. So those are the wonderful things that she did pass onto me.

We love to hate lawyers. I identified with “We fail to realize the value that they bring to the table.” Often we think of the injury layers on TV adds that will want to sue McDonald’s for hot coffee burns. Loved this post.

Nancy, I have also been under the impression that “Lawyers have acquired knowledge that is generally unavailable to the public.” Until I, in a time of great need, came across Dr. Frederick Graves, the lawyer who has made it his mission to dispel that myth and to educate the public (for example me) about, believe it or not, how to win in court with or without a lawyer: http://how-to-win-in-court.pro-se-help.com I was amazed at how simple it can be to understand the law and how to make it work so that justice prevails.

My mom, widowed with 3 small children at age 28, taught me that I could live a meaningful life after losing my own husband when I was 25. Not the only thing she taught me, by far. But that was pretty powerful.

If we didn’t have so much dishonesty you wouldn’t even have to remind us about the FTC.Success should come from us all being honest.If everyone was honest and didn’t Stretch the truth so many times we wouldn’t have so many issues.Personally I am always honest because that is me. Network marketing is not for the weak,it is a business that you must work hard at to succeed.

Yes, honesty and integrity are really good qualities in a person, even a MARKETER!!! As a psychologist licensed in the State of California, we do have a strict ethics code and even more important, working with clients/patients really does require that integrity or we can’t really do good work and betraying their trust can be devastating! So, I definitely take my marketing integrity very seriously as well. Look forward to your new posts in 2011!
